Inessa Demidova is a Senior Designer at Arup. Following a Master’s degree in Design and Environment, Inessa’s experience working on a wide range of interior and exterior lighting projects prompted her to take part in internal Arup research looking at new methodologies that account for artificial lighting effects on ecosystems. Together with a team of lighting and ecology specialists, she has been imagining the updated roles and responsibilities of a lighting designer in built environment.
