Kristina has worked in the lighting industry as a designer and consultant for over 15 years. She is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Member of the Society of Light and Lighting (MSLL), Member of CIBSE (MCIBSE), Vice-President of the Society of Light and Lighting (SLL) and chair of the SLL Education committee. Kristina’s principal interest is sustainability and environmental matters associated with lighting and lighting design. In 2021 she co-authored the SLL/CIBSE publication, TM66 – ‘Creating a Circular Economy in the Lighting Industry’ and CEAM (Circular Economy Assessment Method). Currently working as a senior lighting designer for Atkins Global (UK) within the specialist and architectural lighting team; her recent projects have included London City Airport expansion project, Southampton Cruise Terminal, London Euston Station redevelopment (Euston Enabling for Hs2) and TfL Silvertown project.
