Isabelle Lane
MS Lighting Design
Isabelle is an accomplished lighting designer with an impressive portfolio of successful projects spanning her career to date. These include a number of high-profile projects including the Strand, London, the V&A museum and Battersea Power Station. Isabelle has also coordinated public realm strategies and approval packages across the UK such as Westminster, Greenwich and Nottingham City Council. Internationally, Isabelle’s work can be seen at Shingaga, Dubai, and the Guinness Storehouse.
Since joining MS Lighting Design, Isabelle’s contribution has been immeasurable; having fulfilled a number of residential projects, and in taking the role of lead designer for airport lounges My Lounge, No1 Lounge and clubrooms for Heathrow and Luton Airport.
Isabelle’s achievements have been recognised through professional accolades, including being named as a 40 under 40 winner in 2021. She was also crowned the winner of the 2021 Ready Steady Light Technical Award.
Giving back to the lighting design community, Isabelle has used her knowledge and experience to inspire and develop future lighting designers, having given lectures at Falmouth University and Bournemouth Arts University.
Isabelle has a keen interest in the psychological impact that lighting has on people and how they feel in an environment. She enjoys exploring how lighting is completely intangible but can still create an amazing environment.
Isabelle’s work is underpinned by her educational focus on design, including her degree in Interior Architecture and Design.
