At Timberlab, we believe we can contribute to a more beautiful, sustainable world. We design and create solutions that minimize environmental impact, enabling people and their surroundings to live in harmony with nature. Combining new technologies with natural materials is our ongoing challenge.
Wood forms the foundation of our products. In every design, we strive for sustainability by using responsibly sourced materials. That’s why our wood species come from sustainably managed forests, and we proudly hold certifications from both FSC and PEFC. This makes Timberlab a reliable choice for socially responsible procurement. Our primary wood types include Douglas fir, chestnut, cumaru, Accoya and oak. Each species has its own durability class.
Our fixtures offer a wide range of light colors, from 4000K white light to our custom amber-colored light. This amber light was specifically developed by us to avoid disrupting the flight paths and habitats of bats, contributing to designs that are truly in harmony with nature.
All our lighting products are available in DIALux, making it easy for lighting designers and engineers to integrate them into their plans. Is your idea not available? We are also open to custom solutions, working in co-creation with lighting designers to develop tailored concepts that meet specific spatial, ecological, or aesthetic requirements. Whether it’s adjusting light color, intensity, or fixture design: we’re happy to collaborate to create lighting that truly fits the environment.

Having ‘Ever Researching for a Brighter World’ as a motto, Nichia takes great pride in being the world’s largest LED manufacturer. Founded in 1956 as a specialist chemical producer, Nichia quickly became a global leader in phosphors. The company later developed and commercialised the first high brightness blue LED in 1993 and the first white LED in 1996. At LiGHT 25, Nichia will showcase its high-efficacy H6 Series LEDs which deliver high-fidelity colour reproduction to present objects, people and places in true-to-life colours.
