Show Features
LiGHT isn’t just a trade show made up of rows of exhibitors. It’s a chance for designers, engineers, and architects to really immerse themselves in light, learn more about how light shapes the design industry, and make new connections through our varied features.
ASSOCIATIONS LOUNGE
Sponsored by Studio Due for 2025, the lounge acts as a shared space for industry associations including the LIA, ILP, SLL, IALD and DALI Alliance, to share their ongoing work and information about membership. Located on the Gallery Level, it is open to all registered visitors and exhibitors and provides a comfortable environment off the show floor. It comes complete with complimentary refreshments, networking events and a dedicated talks programme.
TALKS PROGRAMME
CPD-accredited – [d]arc thoughts in collaboration with Lutron, is a highly regarded talks programme featuring presentations and discussion from leading design experts from a multitude of backgrounds. Located in a dedicated conference room, it covers topics from sustainability and circularity, to the business of design, to wellness and health and is a must-attend educational programme for those working in design.
LIGHT ART INSTALLATION
Introduced in 2024 in collaboration with light artist Frankie Boyle, who presented Intra-Spectrum, our regular light installation is a must-see space at the show. 2025 sees lighting royalty, Speirs Major Light Architecture team up with formalighting for Re:Vision and what promises to be an unforgettable, immersive experience.
We live on a planet teeming with life. Yet, we rarely consider how each species experiences this world through a different lens. Re:Vision zooms in on one vibrant slice of that difference: colour perception. Using custom spectral profiles and reimagined Ishihara colour blindness test patterns, it offers a glimpse into how varied the lived experience can be from one species to another, and even between individuals. This sensory experience invites us to step outside the ‘blindness’ of our own perceptual boundaries for a moment, and rethink how we design—not just for humans, but for a richly biodiverse world that is far more colourful, complex, and interconnected than we often imagine.
LiGHT WORK
Head to the Gallery level and you will find a dedicated area for anyone who needs to complete office tasks during the two-day show. Part of the show since its inception, this feature has grown in popularity each year and provides a remote office space complete with dedicated wi-fi, charging points, co-working desk space and complimentary coffee.
