Nathalie Quadrio
Nathalie Quadrio is an independent lighting designer who, after a working experience in Milan, Marseille and Berlin, decided to devote herself to environmental protection connecting her passion for nature with her knowledge of lighting design.
She specialised in the visual perception of animals so that lighting design creates the least possible impact on the ecosystem, both inside and outside the built environment. She relates architecture and lighting design that is useful for humans with the well-being of every other living creature.
Dave Hollingsbee
Dave has been Managing Director of Stoane Lighting since 2012. A designer by training, his fascination with making things led him to Stoane Lighting in 1999 where he quickly grew experience in all corners of the business, assisting its growth to the company it is today. Dave is still heavily involved in projects both at home and around the world but more recently been turning increasing focus to the company’s CSR activities: B Corp and Eco Vadis certification, pushing further towards Circularity, setting up their ReNew programme, helping to spark the GreenLight Alliance initiative and allocating signific resources into the establishment and adoption of rigorous, harmonised environmental matrices.
Massimiliano Tosetto
Continuing with the family tradition of glass making and business entrepreneurship, Massimiliano Tosetto has successfully transformed Lodes into one of Europe’s leading designers and manufacturers of decorative lighting.
Since being appointed Managing Director for the company – then Studio Italia Design – in 2013, Massimiliano’s goal has been to implement a new vision for the brand. Expanding the portfolio of competitive high-quality products and consolidating the company’s commitment to progressing creativity, diversity and innovation.
Massimiliano Tosetto’s new direction for the brand, culminating in the rebrand to Lodes in 2020— on the occasion of its 70th anniversary — with the unveiling of the new logo and brand identity. Since then, as part of a strategic vision, he has maintained Lodes’ distinctive manufacturing know-how and Made in Italy essence.
The journey started with a short catalogue of intelligent products; well-made and well-priced lighting solutions ready for immediate delivery. Massimiliano, who is a firm believer of people and technology as key success factors, was determined to bring innovation to the company.
Massimiliano’s role has also been instrumental in enabling his father and President of Lodes, Andrea Tosetto, to continue his design legacy with some of the brand’s best-selling collections, developing also new collaborations with international designers encouraging the development of distinctive decorative design, continuous development, and experimentation.
