BIOAVITAE
Founded in 2015, Nextsense is a science-based company investigating the health benefits of visible light wavelengths, focusing on fighting AMR and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC).
Nextsense aims to pioneer the Life-Centric Lighting sector: microbicidal and sustainable solutions in harmony with nature, for the well-being of all living beings.
In 2016, Nextsense patented BIOVITAE, a UV-free LED lighting system that efficiently controls microbial loads, ensuring a continuous, automatic and passive sanitisation of environments (on air and surfaces) in a totally safe way for humans. Biovitae creates microbiologically safe environments (biosafe environments) and supports the fight against infection and antimicrobial resistance for the entire healthcare ecosystem, from prevention to treatment.
Moreover, Biovitae is a Cleantech and eco-friendly technology that makes it possible to sanitize in an environmentally friendly way without the use of harsh chemicals.
Biovitae is an ALL-IN-ONE technology that offers two functions (continuous sanitization and lighting) that act simultaneously in a single device, capable of replacing all existing LED fixtures.
Nextsense is developing and patenting new BIOVITAE applications for integration into various objects and environments, white goods, trains, and cars.
